proofpoint customer disaster of the day: hap
Just another day at proofpoint: headlines about another of their email security customers getting hacked. This time (read the Detroit Free Press article from March 5th here), 120,344 Health Alliance Plan clients' personal and protected medical information "may" have been compromised in a security breach. One of their suppliers "experienced a ransomware incident." The word "may" is a laugh. You drop in ransomware, you have the keys to the kingdom.
Just yesterday, I posted proofpoint failures for Rush Medical Center, Marriott, FriendFinder, Home Depot, and Anthem. Sweet Baby Moses in the bullrushes! What new hacks on proofpoint will appear tomorrow. Stay tuned.
