UNC Med School Breach affects 3,716 patients
According to UNC News (read the story here), 3,716 patients had their data phished between May 17, 2018 and June 18, 2018. Information "may" have included names, dates of birth, demographic data, health insurance information, health information, Social Security numbers, financial account information and/or credit card information. The PR flack goes on to…blah, blah, blah. UNC has no phishing detection/enforcement. In fact, without either a DMARC or an SPF record, it looks like UNC School of Medicine…wouldn't know a phishing attempt from a double hernia.
