Banyan Security Marketing is way ahead of reality
I just saw a new player in the cyber security market raise a $17 million A round. They advertise "Zero Trust Remote Access." I'd say "zero trust" is well earned, since they have no email impersonation/phishing/spoofing protection on their own site.
Interestingly, Banyan's A round was funded by Shasta Ventures and Unusual Ventures. Shasta Ventures ought to know better, as they are adequately protected themselves. As for Unusual Ventures, well, their protection provider—dmarcian— has turned off enforcement.
Sounds like their lead investor ought to do some housecleaning.
